The first manufactured t-shirt was invented between the Spanish-American War in 1898, and 1913 when the U.S. Navy started to issue them as standard undershirts. The word "t-shirt" was introduced into the English Dictionary in 1920. F. Scott Fitzgerald was the first person to publish the word in his novel This Side of Paradise.

The cuffs and waist are ribbed whilst the sleeves are asymmetrical with a line of black wool detail. The right arm has the black line at the bottom of the cuff, whereas the left has the line at the top of the cuff.
The Adone Knitted Lurex Top has a shimmery finish and shapes the body with its fitted waist.
Our label is stitched in by hand in a japanese quilting technique to ensure its authenticity.
